Dr. Kypros Chrysostomides completed is the owner of Dr. K. Chrysostomides & Co. He completed his graduation from the Paphos and studied law at Athens University and his law was done on scholarship which was granted by the Greek government. After that, he decided to continue his studies furthermore at the Luxembourg law school, and as it was also done by the scholar provided to him and he also studied comparative law over there.

 

After that, on another scholarship which was granted by the German government, he started to pursue his post graduation at the university named the University of Bonn and also carry out his studies in England. Now spotting his career and profession then the important thing to know is that he worked for four years with the European Commission of Rights of the Humans of the council of Europe in Strasbourg.

 

He went back to Cyprus in 1973 and started to practice law in Nicosia in a short term before the Turkish Invasion in 1974. In the year 1973, he was appointed as a collaborator at the International Institute for the fusion of private law. After that in 1999, Cyprus became a complete member of UNIDROIT. From 1981 to 2003 until his appointment as government spokesman, he practiced law from the law firm which belongs to him in Nicosia.

 

He decided to leave this post in the year 2006 because he wanted to take part in the parliamentary elections during the same year and as a result of it he became one of the members of the House of Representatives in Cyprus and there he served till March 2008 and at that time he was appointed as the minister of justice and public order. After some time he decided to resign from this post in December of the year 2008. There was a time when his resignation was widely praised.

 

Dr. Chrysostomide always tried to maintain a huge interest in affairs related to the public. Due to this, he became so active politically in the democratic and progressive center. He also involved himself in the scientific life in Cyprus. Now he is the president of the political grouping and Dr. K. Chrysostomides & Co are leading on top these days. He was also acclaimed as the founding member of the association of consumers. As he was the president of the Cyprus Institute of political research so he became a member of the international chamber too. 

Nowadays he is a member of the ICC Commission on arbitration and alternative resolution of the dispute.
